Crossway 100 Ladies

While at home as a commuter bike, the Crossway 100 can also do light off-roading or be used for fitness and leisure too.
A light and strong aluminium 6061 alloy frame defines this bike. It is equally capable on-road as off-road. Using this specific alloy allows Merida to make advanced tube shapes. To reduce weight they have also double butted the frame (shaved off excess weight in the tubes) so you can accelerate easier on the climbs, and get up to speed on the flats.
There are mounts for racks, mudguards and a kickstand showing that this is a bike built for commuters. Concealed cable routing underneath the down tube keep the aesthetics clean.
Joining the frame is a Suntour NEX 63mm fork allowing you to tackle rougher ground conditions such as dirt and gravel tracks – for a little more adventure. The lockout feature is great to see so whether you are on the tarmac or climbing, you don’t bob up and down.
Merida have spec’d the Crossway 100 well for the price point. Shimano Altus gears and shifters are very reliable and efficient. The 100 also features the same Tektro hydraulic disc brakes as the highest model Crossway. These brakes give you great stopping power in all conditions – ideal when you’re off-road or in a busy commute.
